Kyle Parry

Kyle Parry works at the intersections of digital media, critical theory, visual culture, and the environmental humanities. His book project, A Theory of Assembly: From Museums to Memes (University of Minnesota Press, ~2022), argues for the power and pervasiveness of a transmedia cultural form called assembly. A second book project, Ubiquity: Photography’s Multitudes (Leuven University Press, 2021), is a co-edited collection on the history and theory of photographic ubiquity. Kyle’s website is kparry.com.
